Adults and children are welcome. I specialize in teaching drawing and painting, especially portraiture, animals, and landscapes. My name is Emily Eid, though I go by the pseudonym "Maya Graine" in my art practice. It's a pun on "migraine" because I make work about chronic pain and illness.I'm an MFA-VA student at WashU in St. Louis, and a graduate of USC's Roski School of Art & Design.
If realism is your goal, I can get you there! Practice makes perfect.

Acrylic paint can be easier to apply, and dries more quickly!

Whatever floats your boat, I'll teach you to create it!
Lessons are $120 per month, which includes four 30 minute sessions, one each week. The first session is a free get-to-know-you meeting. I have basic materials, though I recommend buying your own if you're serious about pursuing art long-term. You can choose to have your lessons in person at my studio in University City STL or online via Zoom.Call/text (303)880-8506.
